I broke my heel and had surgery which went well but I had persisting problems with the wound and pain in my heel. Turns out I had an infection around the screws off and on for three years after the initial surgery. I saw three other doctors who basically said it was just slowly healing and didn't pursue further action. He actually diagnosed the infection by doing cultures and an MRI and was honest and helpful throughout the process of combatting the infection. The situation was very serious because it was a bone infection. Within a month or so, he performed surgery to remove the two screws causing the infection and clean it all up. His surgery went really well and it easily could have been bad since there were many factors involved and lots of scar tissue. The wound healed amazingly well due to his surgical skill, as well as his direction and care. I consider myself very lucky but also don't think I would be where I am now without Dr. Nik and his team. I am fully recovered, cleared to run and play sports, which I am easing back into but feel fully capable. Overall, I am essentially healed, and less than a year after his surgery I am able to hike, snowboard, cycle, and resume my normal activities for the first time in years. He also provided insoles that are very high quality and customized. Very grateful for Dr. Nik and his team!Less

Dr. Nikravesh is the only Podiatrist I consider for any emergencies. He has helped me with a left ankle fracture and a second time he helped me with a ligament issue. Both times, he treated me with 100% professionalism and dedication. I have referred loved ones to him and everyone is very satisfied.Less

Dr. Nikravesh absolutely saved my leg and my life! My family has, no problem driving almost 4-hrs to receive expert care from this fantastic doctor!!! After a fall, Dr. Nikravesh went above and beyond to isolate, plan and care for a very aggressive infection in my bone!! My podiatrist in Santa Maria, CA knew I needed an expert surgeon and referred me to Dr. Nik; best decision of my life!! He found that I was suffering from Osteomyelitis and got a team of doctors on board to help me! He worked tirelessly to make sure to save my leg and my life! I know, without his care; I would not have made it. He set up home health in my area; which alone, was very difficult!! Seriously, he saved my literal life and I get choked up while writing this review. He’s an amazing surgeon and a brilliant doctor!!! His office staff are truly caring and make you feel apart of the family!!! I trust him and his team fully! Thank you Dr. Nik! I can’t thank you enough!!! I’m truly blessed to have been referred to you and been able to receive your outstanding care!!! Without you, I know I would either be missing a leg or have passed away. Dr Nik’s saved my toes !!! I can sure say I was on the urge of possibly amputating my toes my ingrown on both sides on both toes were very crucial in the condition I first came in. I don’t know the terminology of the condition my ingrown was heading but Dr Nik is honorable & incredible in the process of my healing. His urgency, his technique, his practices, his advice, empathy, and great staff contributed in the best results I had by far. Thank you so so much doc ! Dr Nik is honorable & incredible in the process of my healing. Our pediatrician recommended Dr. Nik for my son's foot/ankle pain, (which was quite severe and limiting his ability to participate in sports), and we are so grateful! Dr. Nik immediately recognized the condition as a fairly common growth plate issue in children. and recommended custom orthotics which has completely resolved the problem. Over time, as my son's feet grew, it was necessary to fit him for an additional pair of orthotics. However Dr. Nik was conservative, and did not recommend purchasing a new pair until my son's feet had outgrown the old orthotics and felt it was necessary. In addition, Dr. Nik is very patient, kind, and excellent at dealing with children. His office staff is very helpful and accommodating, which is always a bonus. I would recommend Dr. Nik without hesitation.Less

Dr. Nik was recommended by my knee doctor, and now I'm grateful to him. Seeing Dr. Nik has truly improved my life as a hiker, triatlete and dad. The podiatrist whom I saw first (at UCLA) wasn't much help. He suggested no treatment except orthotics, which didn't help me. Dr. Nik went more radical. Not to surgery -- I like how he's not one to jump into surgeries at all. Instead we went with PRP into the foot. About 6 weeks later, with new orthotics designed by D. Nik himself, I feel much better. With a small, kind office staff Dr. Nik works fast. He combines excellent care with efficiency. I highly recommend him.Less

Great experience with Dr. Nik, I would recommend him to anyone. He helped with with a couple broken bones, and helped me get back into action quickly. This is a doctor that really cares about his patients, and you can hear the excitement in his voice as he sees you through the healing process. Not only is he concerned with healing you now, he makes sure to explain long-term care to ensure you have lasting mobility. In addition, his staff is very friendly and is happy to help answer any questions you may have, and is easy to get ahold of via both phone and e-mail.Less

Dr. Nic has been treating my family for years. His professionalism, attention to detail, custom designed treatments, and interpersonal skills impressed us from our first visit. He always fits us in quickly when an injury occurs no matter how full his schedule and left our anxious daughter calm and happy after surgery, drawing a smily face on her bandage and treating her with the utmost care and compassion . I would happily recommend Dr. Nik to anyone. He's a doctor that's very passionate about seeing his patients get better. He is very friendly and makes you feel comfortable through the whole process. He'll explain everything you need to do very carefully, and is happy to answer any questions you might have. His staff is also great and very helpful, and most importantly, patient. Just be sure to bring cash for parking!Less
